Until October 4. Arcos de la Frontera celebrates one of its most lively times of the year with the Feria de San Miguel, a series of events dedicated to the town’s patron saint. It’s very much geared to families, with two Children’s Days, and plenty for kids until Sunday. As usual, a lot of the action will be taking place in the recinto, but this year, there will also be attractions in more central locations, from the beginning of calle Muñoz Vázquez, close to Paseo de Andalucía, and this stretch will be closed to traffic from 9pm on Wednesday 30th, from 2pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and from midday on Sunday. You have been warned.

Fans of endless TV series Se Llama Copla will enjoy a performance by the 2008 winner, Joana Jimenez, on Saturday, October 3 at 22.30, while fans of La Voz should head to Arcos for a performance by the Cadiz-born Flamenco singer Amparo Lagares.
